Iggy Pop? I'd rather see the Dots | |||||||||||||||||||||
Thanks to Steve Cleary who sent us an e-mail of his favourite memory of the Brighton punk scene: He writes: 'It was the same night - Iggy Pop was playing at the Top Rank, West St, and Nicky & the Dots were just around the corner playing at the Alhambra (now the site of the Thistle Hotel). Members of the Dots were on the door and they seemed almost shocked that we would rather go to their gig. "You do know Iggy Pop's on tonight, dont you?" Beat that for the pulling power of Brighton punk! |
