Stuart Jones Memoirs & Reviews
Bushell gets in on the act

Last issue, we were saying how Radio 1 DJ John Peel was a great ambassador for Brighton bands when he reviewed the Vaultage 78 album.

Hot on the heels of JP's Sounds review of that album, came a similarly gushing piece from Gary Bushell, who of course later went on to write for the Sun.

Like Peel, he made the effort to get to Brighton and actually check out what was happening with the bands and the local scene.
